Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Hey Defenders!
Well I noticed there hasn’t been a Senate for a long time, because its never really held interest. Problem is, a lot of your guys power (You know, the thing you have but don’t use, usually replaced by complaining?) is held through the Senate. Yes, you guys CAN actually choose our laws and what we do (War even!). So here is some information on two representation groups we can use. We can use one, the other, neither or both:
Senate:
The Senate is a small group of representatives who vote on things like:
The Senate meets every week and is led by a Mod Head of the Senate. For every 4 active troops we can have a Senator. Senators elected every 2 months, so you don’t need to worry about long term commitments. This is a chance for any troop who wants to have leadership or have a say about decisions to do so!
Assembly:
The Assembly does not currently exist, but is a new idea. In the Assembly, any GD troop who wanted to can come and have a say. The Assembly would meet every 2 weeks or even just once a month and would decide on decisions like:
It would be a great chance for EVERYONE to get a say. It would be as powerful as the people make it and would be a great way to do good fro GD. It would probably be headed by a 2ic or 3ic (Someone with power, but not the Leaders who can make these decisions alone).

Hello Global Defenders!
Well, it seems to me that you all believe me to be inactive and think I should retire. This is what I am told. In response to this I have a few things to say. First, yes I was extremely inactive. My real life is a busy busy life consumed with homework, trips and much else. It has been difficult o be active. But I’m back. I will continue my activity and will lead you well. Retirement is not on my agenda. I have promises I plan to keep and I will not be retiring soon, I believe. I cannot say I will be on chat frequently, but I will try to go on a few times a week. On a side note, GD has been doing fabulous while I was away. Pungy has continued as always to lead well and we remain an army to pride ourselves with. Thabk youfor stickinv with GD when soldiers like me can’t.

Well Global Defenders, it’s me again. I just wanted to let you know that I AM still active, though it doesn’t seem like it. Honestly, these last couple days I have been inactive for no reason and I apologize for that. I will return to activity soon. Sometimes I depend on Pungy being here to lead, sometimes too often, and I forget that, after all, I AM your Leader as well. So here’s to you Defenders, the loyal when all have forgotten. Well, GD is obviously in need of a certain member of the glorious Kool Family. I left, but have been checking the site daily. And, well, you guys are a little inactive. Pungy can’t do it all you know. (I appreciate Jack, Hbk and others planning events. Kudos.) So, I return. Whether or not the slump is BECAUSE of me is debatable, but the undeniable truth is that GD needs me… well, help. And I just happen to be relaxed and ready to help. I just got CPAE out of a gutter after all (kind of, it’s a work in progress). So Defenders, are you with me?

Pungy Edit: I have promoted Hbk300 to the rank of temporary 2ic. Situation permitting, he will be demoted once Redd returns. I do NOT want to hear ANY complaints about his promotion. Hbk has earned this more than the current 3ics. Jack, you have been gone too long to get this. Greeny, get more active. If you want more details on the situation, PC me.
Well guys, it’s been a long, fun ride and the Global Defenders have seen and done some amazing things, but it’s about time I parted with you. I am increasingly busy, juggling school, sports and other things that have shown as always to be more important than even the Global Defenders. So I am taking a break. Probably a long break.
So I, Redd Kool, hereby retire from the Global Defenders’ Army for a temporary period of time. I will return upon the first day that I can once again perform my duties to this army. I will return again to decide if I will continue again or if I will retire for good.
