    Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Free Jacket: Nonmember Substitute for Blue Jersey?

Recently, while looking about sites for CPAE, I found Team Gold’s site had info on a free hoodie for CP. Naturally I tried it out, and it works! Good thing for us is it is also blue and can be used for the uniform. It looks like:

Looks good right? Haha, anyway, here is how to get it:

  1. Got to Club Penguin and Login
  2. Click the “Unlock Items” Button in the top-right hand corner
  3. Click “Enter Code”
  4. Type in “FREEHOOD” and press done
  5. It will show the hoodie and say it is in your inventory!

Today’s Updates

Pungy Edit: I’d like to let someone other than me lead the training session. It will help us train our new owners as well as our mods.

War Results

First off, Pungy ended the War with SWAT. Unfortunately, they were just too much for us and you guys all needed a break. We expect you all to become really active right now though. Here’s the deal (ignore that pun):

So SWAT now has Flippers, South Pole, Cabin, Frozen and Hypothermia. We now have Ice Pond, Iceland, Bonza and our beloved Outback. Oh, and we have Lsund.

Page Maintenance

The History page (now the GD Saga) is updated as far as April 14 when we had the FGR, Flyer and TT war. The Briefing Room is back in order to be updated daily and for Owners, I will be updating Battle Plans and Tactics (probably to be renamed the Central Intelligence Agency or CIA). The Empire page is mostly updated, we just need to change the map. More page maintenance coming.

Events

We need to get more active. The invasion of Sleet had SPECTACULAR numbers, it just happened that so did SWAT. But we need to get those numbers at all times. We have a PB coming up with UMA, so let’s win (remember UMA is major). We also have a Training Session. Most of you ignore the Training days. Well, I will be leading it unless I am not there, but if we get 20 people, we will have a Mod and CP Party and maybe even promotions.

History Page

Hello Defenders!

I just thought I should let everyone know I will be updating the History page. Currently, the History stops at becoming the Global Defenders and has very little depth. In other words, we haven’t updated it since our noob stage. So Pungy has given me permission to restore the page and archive our history. This is taking a lot of time, thoughtful writing and research. I have been having to look back in the Archives to remember dates and wars. So please, when I announce its finish, give it a read and appreciate my hard work. Thank you Pungy for letting me do this and thank you all for reading!

Redd Kool Leadership Plans Initiation

Well, knowing that someday I will be the Global Defenders Leader, I have planned in my head many many many things to do for GD during my Leadership. I was hoping Pungy’s Golden Age would last long enough that I could save all for myself, but instead I find need to start now.

Ranks

I feel that the ranks are bland, unoriginal and boring. I always use 2ic because I hate the term Coleader. New ranks that you the reader could think of. I dont know, wouldnt you love to have a President Pungy instead of Leader Pungy?

Special Ranks

As far as I have seen, Special Ranks are just an easy way to get Owner. No one does anything and half of them are empty. I would rather fix them up and change them or eliminate them all together. For example: Security, Spy, etc.

I don’t remember what that was, but it sounds kool right?

The Global Defender Newsletter

An idea I had for a while. A few armies do it, Nachos had a form of it. It would have serious updates and then some fun things like Ask Glob-Glob Globe. We could have Reporter Apps weekly even for any GD member.

Weekly Contest

We could have fun contests rewarded in GD Cash, Owner on Chat for a day, your name spammed over the site, etc. Contests could be trivia, scavenger hunts, etc.

Uniform Purchases

Well, I am doing this ether way, it isn’t a proposition. We will be once again having the Uniform shipments. For those of you who dont remember or were not in the army, we used to get shipments of Globe Hats, Hockey sticks, Face paint and more from Outback, which we would purchase for a week with terra, which is not GD Cash.
