Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Hello GD,
I am declaring some new policies that will be effective May 1st, 2011. Here they are:
1. Inactivity Policy
This policy states that all troops who do not attend a single battle in any given month will be demoted one rank on promotion day. There will be exceptions given based on real life schedules, chat activity, etc. These exceptions shall only be given by the Leader on promotion day. Owner ranks may recommend an exception based on what they see on chat. Owners that do not attend a battle in half of any given month shall be demoted immediately. Any person convicted inactivity may sue in the Senate.

2. Retirement Policy
All troops have the right to retire when they feel the time is right. They may not retire once and re-join multiple times. All troops may retire and rejoin only once in a period of 2 months. Exceptions may be given by the Leader only. Owner ranks may recommend an exception of a given person to the Leader. If you retire because of social reasons such as chat, you may not come back on GD except with Leader permission.

Hello GD,
I, Pungy1234, write here today to address the recent events. There has been much confusion lately and I think it is time to clear it up. First off, there have been too many chat fights. I came on chat today and heard the sad news that Frosty and Red Dude were retiring. Red’s retirement was due to a fight on chat. Chat fights really anger me because they end up with the loss of great troops like Frosty654 and Red Dude877. At the current moment, it is unclear whether GD is on a rise or a downfall. As much as I wish Red and Frosty wouldn’t retire, I believe we cannot continue to beg them to stay. Begging is not the answer. If Red and Frosty must move on then it is something that they must do. I speak from the bottom of my heart when I say I wish they would stay and help with the rise of GD. Citizens of GD. I will tell you know, all of you active troops, will see the rise of GD and will get a piece of the glory. We will advance through the Medium Top Ten and I can guarantee you, in about two months or so we will be a candidate for the Major Top Ten. Despite these retirements which are unfortunate, we need to learn to move on and not to live in the past. We need to think toward the future so we can rise to be great. Those of you who believe in GD, you are the ones who will make this army great. If you want a piece of glory, stay with GD. Don’t give up when things look rough. If you don’t give up with GD, if you leave chat fights in the past, if YOU BELIEVE, you can make this army rise. The thing that makes an army rise isn’t fancy graphics, cool uniforms, or any of that fluff. The thing that makes an army rise, is YOU. Only YOU can help GD rise. Now I ask for your full support in helping GD in the final leg to the Golden Age. WE CAN DO IT! Stick with GD and you’ll be a powerful figure in the CP army world. Remember this:

Thats right GD goodbye. I had hopes for this army but it seems they died when Jacknat started bragging on how he was 10/10 then he became an ass. Frosty sided with him so I was outnumbered. I was tired of fighting so I quit. To the people that liked me here. Vote again I will stay if 8 votes of stay come in.

Redd: I just want to say, be ready. So far fellow defenders, we have had luck, many no shows and poor enemies. Now, we are beginning to face harder challenges. BB may not be much, but CPC, Sun Troops, WV, they are strong. At this rate, we can win. We have had great numbers and tactics. But it will not be as easy.
