Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Our Darkest Hour, And How To Fix It

Hello GD,

I’m sorry to say that our darkest hour has fallen upon us. This is not the end, but it can be, if we don’t fix this mess up. I can’t do this alone. I have one simple message for you all.

Pitch In

To those of you who have retired recently, I am somewhat disappointed in you. It’s easy to hop on the bandwagon and join a rising army. When it gets hard is when that army begins to fall. Times like this are the true test of loyalty, whether it be to an army, a family, a company, anything. This is a lesson to learn for the real world, as well as you CP Army career. To those who retired because of chat, I am terribly disappointed. Chat is OPTIONAL and an absolutely HORRID reason to leave an army.

This can be fixed. I cannot fix it alone. Divided we fall, united we conquer. We need YOU to help out. If each and every soldier recruits 2 active troops, we will be in great shape. I want to challenge you guys. Here’s the challenge:

Recruit 2 Active Troops

If every soldier recruits 2 active troops, we’ll more than double our active troop count. This would really get us out of our rut.

Are You Up For The Challenge?

We shall return GD to it’s former glory. Do you want to be a part of it? If so, you must help. If you are not loyal enough to stay through GD’s rough times, so be it. You will not be part of this army when it returns to the top.

Do Not Retire During Our Rough Times

Retirement of active troops during our hard times is what affects us more than anything. Retiring during times like these shows selfishness and disloyalty to armies in general. I ask very little of you and now I ask for your help during our time of need.

I did read it though and here’s my Summary:
Summary: GD is now in there Darkest Hour.GD is not ending but if we don’t fix it it is going to be.Everyone has to recruit 2 active troops.
Also: I want to help bring back GD to its glory.And I wont retire.

This is why i am here. To help GD out of this darkest hour. I agree Pungy, chat fights are a dumb and stupid reason to retire. It’s why i made the recuiting event. But ever army goes through this and somone has to help out. We need people to come out of retirement.

We need to start “Recruiting Friday” again. As we do the recruit 2 Active Troops, Recruiting Friday will help us again. And how about also “Recruiting Monday” if we recruit as a team on cp and in real. Then we would become bigger. And you’re right we are in the darkness hours. We just need a little more recruiting.

Pungy do you Know something? all throughout all the major army’s i have joined this is the only one i have become a high moderator i have been trying to get a mod in 1 major army since i joined Clubpenguin warfare in 2010 i wont retire and i wont quit and since i struck mod of an MAJOR army i sure am gonna be as active as i can.
