Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Join the Global Defenders today!

My Time Has Come

Hello Global Defenders.

Well, I had this long, corny speech I created, but I realized most of it was just words. I didn’t really mean it. So this will replace it. I had a list of all the people who I wanted to thank before I left, but I realized nobody here is left that truly helped me out, most retired long ago, except a few. So here goes my actual retirement speech.

A little more than a year ago, I was introduced to Club Penguin army warfare. I joined the Nachos and there I remained for months, being promoted each month. It was there that I rapidly learned and, being older than most veteran Nachos, quickly escaped the noob stage. I joined other armies from there, first a Banana, getting all the way to 3ic and then the truly most important day of my CPA career came. A fellow troop, not even a mod yet, came up to me and asked me to join his army. Yes, friends, this soldiers name was Pungy1234. Through Pungy I soon met Ligit Pengy and Negi123456. The Penguin Militia, as our little army was called, was on its way. You should all know the story. That army became the Global Defenders. We rose rapidly and soon became Major. We had our ups and downs of course. Who could forget the FGR Wars? Or the more recent SWAT Wars? Many of you attended the Invasion of Outback for our Birth Server and Capital, and many attended the Invasion of Flippers which I could not visit, but as a medium army we were able to get 17 people then. Yes, GD has been my Club penguin life. I will miss it very much.

While here I have achieved every goal I had. I became Head of CPAE. I became a Philosopher at CPAC. Most importantly I became Leader of GD. And, heck, I even invaded Mammoth alone, successfully and legitimately (though I gave it back), from ACP with only a few minutes “help” from Jed. So yes, my life here has been nothing less than awesome.

But alas (a funny word, that is) my time has come. I cannot attend events and I really cannot say in all honesty led you well as a Leader. But I like to think I helped GD through Pungy and what jobs he has given me to say I did serve GD beyond any other than Pungy himself. And in all the time I spent here, I can justly say that I had a lot of fun. And if I had the time and weren’t 15, I would not have retired any time soon. Unfortunately, I have to retire now.

So before I conclude, I would like to thank two people. First, I would like to thank Negi. Negi, I have helped you with many problems, but you have helped me just as much. You are the nicest person I know, but you can still be steel when you need to. Thank you for EVERYTHING you have done. I’m very sorry the real world wouldn’t let me keep my promise to have you lead with me. But thanks. And lastly, but definitely not least, Pungy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing me to the Penguin Militia. Thank you for letting me do so much for GD when really I was just 2ic and shouldn’t have been allowed to. It was my pleasure helping you and being your right hand man when you needed me. You are, unarguably, my best friend here. We have a lot in common and hopefully this isn’t the last time we speak. I hope you continue your leadership strongly.

So farewell Global Defenders. I leave you at your peak for the shining shores of Retirement Island. Hopefully I will be able to meet with you again, but I fear I will never again talk to any of you. So goodbye and keep GOING GLOBAL!

  6. Without you that something in GD is gone. Yes late comment i know I know.

  7. Why am I not mentioned, I changed GD, got us major. By the way, why must you go….

    • He has his Sophomore year in High School going.

    • Don’t take it the wrong way Jack, you have most definitely aided GD since joining. However, Negi and Pungy were the two who influenced me so much from my noob days onward. If I mentioned everyone who helped me (as I originally attempted) my list would be much too long. But yes Jack, you deserve much gratitude from myself.
