Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. A Little Note From Your Friendly Neighborhood Redd

Hey Global Defenders! I hope you’re enjoying your last days of summer or first days of school. I just wanted to let everyone know, due to the fact I still have a book and a half to read and a ton of note-taking to do and several chapter outlines to write, with only a week left of Summer, I’m in a bit of a tight space. So, I will not be at any events nor will I schedule any for the next week. I will be completely gone, no emails, no xat, no posts. I’ll see you all then, but I have a few notes first. (Continue reading your designated section).

Owners: Honestly, there’s not much else I can do. I came back from retirement in May to make sure this army didn’t die and I have to say I’ve done a damn good job of it. While you were gone, Pungy, I not only kept this army going, but with a little help from Jack and Shad, I raised it up. Jack, Shad: You have helped me quite a bit, but I’m not seeing much now. All I see is you two “informing” me or leading events. I expect more. Clyde: You’re doing excellent and promoting you was the best decision I ever made. The rest of you need to step it up. Each one of you is an Owner because I KNOW you can lead well. So do it. You can’t wait on me anymore. The other 8 members of GD Owner ranks need to remember why you’re here.

Members & Mods: You guys have done awesome. You put up with my seemingly insane attempts to help the army, and because of that they actually worked. You’ve come to events and fought well, almost getting us at Major again. Almost. “Almost” is not enough. No one celebrates almost getting that date, or almost winning that game, or almost surviving that Zombie Apocalypse. You have to do it. As a wise old extraterrestrial Jedi master once said “Do or Do Not. There is no Try.” All I ask of you is to recruit (gather your friends, tell people about our Mod Apps, show the world GD) and to stay loyal. No more of this waiting to be private-chatted or leaving for another armies events. Only you can keep GD alive. There is no army without its troops.

Yes, oddly enough, this is all for my one week absence. But these are problems I have seen before and am seeing again. We can’t throw a whole summer of hard work down the drain. ACP has fallen out of the Top 3. If that can happen, anything is possible, and it’s not so unlikely that we can take back what we have already once had. Don’t die on me guys. That’s a waste of good sexy.
