Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Join the Global Defenders today!

And as the shadow fades…

Hello, my fellow Global Defenders, and for the last time.

Well, what can I say? These last few weeks in armies have been great for some, bad for others. Unfortunately, I cannot really say how it was in my perspective. All I can say is that I am ending my run here, after about 2 years in CP Armies and and several months in the Global Defenders. It has been fun being with friends on xat and it has been an honor to serve in the Global Defenders. Not once do I regret accepting Pungy’s offer to join GD.

To those wondering why I am retiring, I am sure the reasons are pretty obvious. I am getting more and more busy and have much less time for this, partially to my displeasure. You probably have not seen me on xat, which speaks for itself. I would rather retire now, at this point in time, instead of staying in my rank as an Owner and not contributing or helping at all.

GD itself is a great army and I know you guys can amount to much more. You just have to keep hope. Keep on having events and being on chat and being the amazing army you are.

(Note: This is not going to be a long retirement post like I had hoped, but it should be decent enough for one. Definitely not going to be the 5000-word one I had hoped to do, which I know you all would have LOVED to read.)

Friends in the Army Community

-Pungy: You were a great friend and also a great person to talk to. We had some great times on chat together and I know you and the other owners will lead GD back to its greatness.

-Mch: We did not talk too much, but we were pretty good friends. It was fun talking with one of ACP’s best leaders and not having to worry about what I say.

-Splasher: Glad we were friends. You were awesome to talk to and I hope I can still see you around on xat sometimes.

-Thomas: You were a very loyal troop in GD. Proud to have known you.

-Redd: Politics, mannnnnn. I always loved you correcting everything Pungy did.

-Skye: A really great person. I was glad to have known you and maybe we will see each other some random day, though that is very unlikely.

-Blue: Great to have worked at CPASC with you. Wish we could talk more, but sadly that never will happen.

-Ray: My best xat friend ever. Wish you and I were still on more and could hang out.

I am not going to go through anymore people since I really do not have the time nor can I remember the hundreds of people I have seen and become friends with. To those I missed, I will miss you, even if it is not said here. I guess I will end this post on a decent note.

Farewell, my fellow Global Defenders, and for the very last time.

  1. Goodbye old buddy, old pal, old friend (I used commas, of course). It’ll be different here without you, and not necessarily in a good way. Goodbye!

  2. While looking at GD for the Top Ten, I was shocked to see this post. You’re one of the funniest people I’ve known around here, and we had some great times in CPASC. I hope to see you around, you’re a great guy and a great friend to me, and I hope you do well in life.

  3. No Chrisi? 😦 But goodbye, I love you 😦
