    Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. CPAC Army of the Week!

Hey Defenders! It’s been an awesome week for us, now, hasn’t it? We’ve been getting a TON of recruits, we had an AWESOME turn out at the elections and SMAC ranked as Number One one of their Top 5! Well, it’s not over yet! Today we were featured on CPAC as Army of the Week. We’re finally getting that recognition GD, so let’s show the Globe who us Defending it!

Tomato, who writes AOTW at CPAC, had this comment for us:

I think that if GD can get more active, they can rise to be as powerful as they once were.  I think that’s the only thing holding them back from rising.  If they don’t get more active, there’s the possibility that they will fall and possibly die.  I think loyal and dedicated soldiers would join GD.

I agree with Tomato, as I do with Superoo (see post about SMAC by Icey Cold). So, we’ve got two things on the agenda: battles with stronger armies and lots of them! Keep up the good work GD!

A Little Clarification

As many of you have by now realized, the ballots will look like this:

Redd (Pres.) & Pungy (VP)

Pungy (Pres.) & Redd (VP)

Tedwa5 (Pres.) & Runner-Up (VP)

Ower123 (Pres.) & Runner-Up (VP)

Unless Tedwa or Ower have already picked VP candidates (which I am unaware of if they have), logically it follows that if one of them wins, the first runner-up is VP. VP Candidates had to have been chosen yesterday, so this seems most fair for anyone candidate who didn’t announce it.

Now, as you can see, it is a bit strange that Pungy and I have joined. We are still running separately, just with the agreement that each of us will be the VP of the other should either of us win. We are NOT one candidate. We both still want to be the Big Cheese, the Head Honcho, the Heir to the Pear. If you vote Pungy, he has the full power, me than I do. If you vote Tedwa or Ower, and one of them wins, the person with the most votes under them will take VP.

NOTE- If any troops object to the “Runner-Up” system, or if I have made a mistake in the candidates’ VP choices, please comment.

Election Updates

Note from the Moderator: Tedwa has posted a confirmation already, and must speak with Pungy, Redd, or myself on chat so that he can be apart of the debates. Same for Ower123, please speak with any of the three of us. Whenever you guys are on, we will have debates, even if it is just two of you. Remember to be on GD Chat as much as you can in order to participate in these debates.

So far, we have four confirmed candidates, and that will be most likely be it for the candidates running. The confirmed candidates are Pungy1234, Redd Kool, Ower123 and Tedwa5. A series of ads and debates have already started between the Lobster Party’s and the Pearocrats’ candidates. Debates will take place on chat every so often, done in private and posted on the site, or posted on the official debate forum.
