    Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Re-Taking of Outback

The flag rises once more over the Nation

Hello GD,

Today the Global Defenders officially returned and took back Outback from the clutches of the imperialist, fascist SWAT. After being elected President in a snap poll, I declare that GD is officially revived. We got excellent sizes for an unscheduled first day.

As Outback is the traditional home of the GD people, it is only natural that we should seek redress for the atrocities committed by the tyrannical SWAT oppressors. In these past few weeks of oppression, more innocent pears have been actively and knowingly slaughtered than at any point in world history. As such, we will be seeking a resolution at the CP United Nations declaring Pears to be an oppressed race worthy of asylum. Meanwhile, the newly reconstituted Republic of the Global Defenders shall make its goal to protect Pears throughout the world – indeed, we shall be a Homeland for the Pears. 

In our first battle against the SWAT oppressors, we have achieved greater numbers than anybody could have ever hoped for. It is therefore that I proudly present the Grand Army of the Republic.

As of the final reading of this post, the army of officially dissolved by Executive Order. However, the Holy and Divine Truth of the Pear which the Global Defenders hold fundamental to our principles shall never die:

The 2014 Club Penguin Army Census

In 2011, under Woton, CPA Central began an ambitious project to poll the members of its community and determine important statistics on where we were and where we are going. Though that project came short in many ways, it was proof that here in armies, a census was not impossible. Three years later, much has changed, armies have experienced lows and a Second Golden Age, and we’re here to try again.

Prime Ministerial Elections for the May-June 2014 term are here. Due to the weird time at which this election is being held, the Prime Minister elected to this term will serve until 3 June 2014, when the next elections will be held. After that, all Prime Ministerial elections will be held on the first 3 days of the month and take place every 2 months. It is with a heavy heart and sound conscience that I issue this statement on the behalf of the Assembly of the Global Defenders and and of the government of this nation. It was today, 13 April 2014, that the Soda Pop Army, our adversary in war, has claimed false victory over our armed forces on the server of Rainbow, upon the grounds that our nation illicitly utilized forbidden outside assistance in securing our victory.
