Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Hello Defenders,
This post regards the revival of the Global Defenders. A prestigious army lost in the past. This day we seek to revive the dream of this army.
Lets get right down to it. Global Defenders has been dead for over half a year. Even before that, we were declining drastically. Through Global Defenders, leaders have been born. Through my own eyes I have seen a dream unfold. Noobs turn into 1ic’s of Major Armies. Such a dream fought a long struggle that finally ended with GD dying. A fact we sought to deny, and go around has become evident. Complete Owner negligence. It was I who let go, and allowed us fall this low. It ended with me finally leaving. Defenders, this dream I see through my eyes is distant, but reachable. I am here today because I reach out to you. I want you to join me and help revive this dream that still exists. I need you to resurrect this thought that has found its way to the head of my mind! This dream is not simply a pity I lay upon myself, for letting such a dream fade away. No! It is the plight of the Global Defenders! This saga is not over today. It is reborn now through the eyes of you and me!

Hello Defenders! Jack here! I’d like to officially announce that I am running for GD President. I can’t wait for the Election, when GD gets to decide who there next Leader is. I bid luck to all my opponents. Here is my Campaign Platform:
Next to Pungy, I am the second oldest Global Defender that is still currently active. I have had experience being this armies 1ic before, and I think I would be a good choice to lead it again. I have lead armies myself before. Some of those armies are the Tacos, Pretzels, The Vandals, and of course, the Global Defenders.
If I get the privilege of being GD President, I will uphold the honor of GD. I will be willing to dedicate my time and effort to GD. When I first joined, I didn’t know what kind of adventure I was getting into. The Global Defenders does not wait a day for substitute, we take action. I hope to mold GD into an even greater version of what it is now.

Hey GD. Today was the Practice Battle with the Water Vikings. WV has had a good allied history with us. GD logged on fairly early, and waited a bit for WV to come on. When they did, they admitted defeat shortly afterwards. Not wanting to waste the number of troops we got on time, I decided to continue with Practice. Here’s the the results:
GD, we can do better. But I must say, that was SEXY!

Hey GD, Jack here. We have a couple of events coming up. Firstly, I talked with WV leader BepBoy, and we agreed to have a PB. Secondly, I will begin having mod training that all Mods MUST attend. If not attended, you are facing a very high risk of being demoted.
In the CPAC Top 15, WV got 15. GD got 12th. This will be a pretty close battle, we just got to be on our game. Lets show WV what were made of!
I have scheduled this mod training to keep Mods on there game during battles, and in case we need them to lead. I will be scheduling more training’s like this one until I see fit. Members can come, but will not be able to lead, just observe.

Hey GD! Jack here with the PB’s results. I must say, this was a fairly close duel, but it ended in tie. Our size was steady throughout the PB, but our tactics weren’t the best.
