Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Well, not much to say here except that we really did not except to have much of a good event. Redd and I got onto Cabin to do some recruiting since it was only the two of us available at the time, even though a few people showed up afterwards. We really did not expect to do much on the 4-bar server. The results of that session surprised the both of us to very high points.

Training Session Results- 7/23/12
Hello GD. We are in dire need of events, and we are falling out of existence in the CP Army Community. We need to start working harder to be a great army, because we are. We are just going through a period of in-activeness, which all armies eventually do. We need to recruit, have more events, and be on chat whenever we can. People are even starting to think that GD is dead. When I came onto chat, I saw a lot of people saying that GD is dead, including Bran, a former GD owner. We are going to be making a comeback from this state, which started long before Pungy left on vacation. So if you are thinking it is just because of Pungy, then you are wrong. This started a while ago. Pungy is now back, along with Redd, and we hope to start working harder and becoming greater than we ever were. Now then, let us get on to the events.

Hey GD,
It’s Clyde, your new 3ic. I’m here to say my input on where this army stands, but first, let me tell you about myself. I started my career in CP armies with the Fire Warriors. For a few months, I was low-ranked. Then the name changed occurred, and it was no longer a nice small army I enjoyed. So I quit and joined some small armies, most of which died immediately. On March 2nd, 2011, I joined the Global Defenders. I quickly rose through the ranks into the highest mod rank, and stayed there for most of my GD experience. Recently, I was promoted to 3ic. Enough about me, now onto the rant.
GD, I remembered how proud I was to say that I was in the Global Defenders. This army was great. So I ask you, what happened? We started falling when Pungy went on vacation. We shouldn’t need him to be around 24/7 to keep us active. Members, Mods, Owners, all of you, It’s time to take responsibility and rise again. So this is what I think should happen.
Instead of making goals to be #1 and have 60+ active troops and all that, we need to focus on getting out of this hole we’re stuck in. Instead of trying to be #1 right away, lets set smaller goals. For example:
We can’t rely on inspiring speeches to get active troops. We need to focus on getting active right here, right now. C’mon GD, I know we can rise to our former glory. If Jack or any other leader approves of this post, I’m sorry, it needs to be said. Comment what you think needs to be done- Tactic Sessions? Recruiting Sessions? Please, if you think it will help, comment.

Hey Defenders! I know, I know, it’s been a long time since we had any new supplies. According to the Massive Reform, we were supposed to have shipments every month since May, but things didn’t work out. See, all our factories just happened to be on the SWAT side of Outback and then AR it took over and we were pretty much at a loss.
Now Pungy and I were expected to pay import taxes for our own factories, so we decided enough was enough. Our top P.E.A.R. agents snuck over the border and burned down our factories and we had our top construction groups building faster than ever. When GD was barely GD (like 2 years ago and days after PMA), when Pungy and I were still noobs, I put together a little “real” Global Defender soldier in MS Paint. Obviously, it looked terrible. So I decided with my bettered editing skills, I’d update it. So here you go Defenders!
