Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Today we had an overly full chat, so before too many people started logging off, I used that size for an Unscheduled Recruiting Session. It lasted about 10 minutes once everyone got on and we got about 6 out of 10 on Xat to help out. We also danced in the Music Jam. Great Job GD!

Hello Defenders,
Today on chat a imposter came on impersonating me. As i have been told some people are angry at me, that person that was on chat was not me. I was also told that his name was: “Jacknat02 at Grandma’s house We got cookies!” There have been hurt feelings because this imposter banned everyone when he came on and said “I QUIT, I HATE YOU ALL!”. I would never say that because I am the 3ic of the GD and do not intend on resigning anytime soon. The irony of “At Grandma’s House” was my real parents died when I was very young, that is very sad and personal. I am extremely insulted. To all those that were banned in this impersonation please contact me on chat and i will sort things out. I am very sorry to all those who were banned in this. Even though this fake did not have a chat account or my current powers, I was not able to log into Xat. This may have been related to this event. I was even told that my imposter threatened to hack this chat. I do not know how to hack or by any means get into someone different than I info or personal business. My sources have said that the phony was not Owner on chat and that he was a Moderator. I would not be a Mod unless a Owner made me which there were non on at the time. In saying that it was not me. This will be investigated and I personally will find out who it was if I have to trough every Mod. All i know is that he had a picture of a Pokemon in his name and that he did not have a Xat account and for some apparent reason he was a Moderator. Hello Defenders of the Globe.
I have heard much about Colonies recently. Shab mentioned them on CPAC a while back, PI posted deciding if they were to be a AR colony and CPGT has three. So what I am here fro today is to ask this question: Should we have colonies?
Basically, a colony would be an individual army that pays tribute to us in exchange for our protection. The colony may lend troops to us in big battles or fight in any war for us, etcetera. In exchange, we, being larger, would defend the army from any other armies wanting to fight the colony. The way I see it, it is a very closely bonded alliance between a large and small army.

I personally think it would be great. It would make us look how we are, a generous and peaceful but powerful army. Plus, there would be benefits. Like Shaboomboom said in the post, we could use them as an independent but totally under-our-command division to use in seperate rooms during BIG battles.

Today we fought both the Light Troops and Pink Ice. We tied the Light Troops and defeated Pink Ice by quite a bit. Everyone should be VERY proud to be a Global Defender today. Here are some pictures and statistics.

Ok we had the senate meeting and here is what we decided:
First of all we Realized that we needed more recruits, so we had an idea: everyone who gets 10 recruits will get a promotion. but at least 8 of those troops need to be active.
Then we thought about having a war or a fun war. when we voted it was a tie between war and fun war but in the end, we decided to have a fun war with LT which will probably be arranged soon.
So remember, 10 recruits and you get a promo 😉 ~MЯ D
