Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Deciding the Future of the Global Defenders

Hello GD,

If you haven’t noticed, GD is practically dead. However many active GD troops there still are out there, it’s time for you to make a choice. This choice you make, will decide the future of GD, whether it continues on, or dies. There are a few packages to choose from. Choose now and make a difference in the future of GD.

Note: Only choose a package you CAN and WILL take part in.

Package 1 – Restart, Reform, Re-rise

Give GD a fresh start, with new ranks, new leaders, and new government. If you vote on this measure, you are expected to rejoin the newly started GD and contribute to helping it rise again. Don’t waste my time by voting for this, but not carrying through by rejoining.

Package 2 – A Farewell to Arms

Put an end to GD once and for all. Should this package pass, GD will be closed once and for all. There will be no second generations, no revivals, nothing. At least without express permission from Pungy1234 and/or Redd Kool.* The website will be used for anything determined by Pungy1234, the website’s owner and main administrator.

*Redd Kool has been given this authority for his extreme and undying commitment to GD.

Package 3 – Two Become One

Merge GD into an army determined by a vote at a later date (if the package is passed). Terms of ranking will be determined through negotiation between Leaders of GD and the other army.

To me, GD has always been an inspiration. One of those few surviving small armies out there that doesn’t fear the word ‘death.’ Even though GD has gone against ACP many times (when I was in it, which always made me cring), I still love GD and hope the best for them always.

Please realize that just because you get small sizes doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. Sure, only two people came. It’s better than none, right? At least you know you can only get better from there. (I don’t know what sizes you got before this so don’t correct me on that.)

The point I’m trying to get at is that GD is one of those small armies to deserve to be around for a long time. You see many armies go into the top ten and right when they drop out, bam!, their dead. You guys have been able to adapt to all the changes. This goes for an army like Sky Troops too. I don’t know any armies, besides Sky Troops, that can say they’ve done what you guys have.

Need any help? I’m always open for assistance.
