Hello everyone,and sorry this post is a little bit late. Nevertheless, we did have a good meeting on Friday, and quite a bit was decided on. Here’s the record. Just a note, some proposals were made but dismissed rather quickly, and were not recorded.

K-9 Division Bill

Global Defenders troops who own a blue or green puffle are encouraged to bring it to battles as part of the uniform.

Proposed by Eddie. Four to three opposed. Bill not passed.

Voter Qualification Act

To be qualified to vote, a troop must have attended one event for the Global Defenders. All troops must also comment on an active count ending three days before the elections. In addition, a troop may not run for President unless they have been in the army for at least thirty days.

Proposed by Redd Kool. President Corollary proposed by Pungy1234. Unanimously approved. Bill passed.

Chat Bot Purchase

The Global Defenders’ Army must have its own bot for chat entertainment.

Proposed by Dpd and Robin. Due to a disagreement over payment, the purchase was dismissed.

Presidential Term Amendment

A past or incumbent president may run for election as many times as they desire. However, no one may serve more than two terms in a row. After two terms, they must wait for a term to be served by another person before running again.

Proposed by Redd Kool. Five to one opposed. Amendment not passed.

Politburo Amendment

The Global Defenders are to be governed by the Politburo Standing Committee. This creates a communist regime led by Chairman Pengy, the Secretary General of the Communist Party, the Commisars of War and Labor, and two other high-ranking members of the Communist Party.

Proposed by Ligit Pengy. Six to two opposed. Amendment not passed.

Lordship Removal Act

The Assembly may remove the title of lordship as well as appoint it. With a three-fourths vote, the Assembly may remove lords that they consider to be inactive, to have failed to perform their duties, or to be otherwise undeserving of the title. The Supreme Court still retains the power to remove a lordship as punishment for a criminal offense.

Proposed by Redd Kool. Unanimously approved. Bill passed.

Chat Rule Enforcement Bill

The rules for the Global Defenders’ chat are revised to keep chat civilized. These rules may be in no way broken, and all Owners and Moderators are responsible for enforcing them as needed while on Xat.

Proposed by Pungy1234. Five to one approved. Bill passed.

Assembly Act

The Speaker of the Assembly must schedule an Assembly at least once a month. If called upon by the President or Vice President, the Speaker must schedule an Assembly with reasonable haste. The Speaker must also announce an Assembly one week ahead of time and allow any people unable to attend to comment their proposals. If the Speaker fails to do any of this, it is the President’s responsibility to appoint a new one.

Proposed by Redd Kool. Unanimously approved. Bill passed.

Treasury Act

Each President of the Global Defenders must appoint a Treasurer, who will keep records of all terra exchanges and matters of the Treasury. The Treasurer is responsible for awarding all troops the appropriate sum of terra, as well as collecting fines for criminal offenses. They are responsible to keep an updated Treasury record.

Proposed by Clyde16. Unanimously approved. Bill passed.

The next Assembly will not have nearly so much to pass, and hopefully we can speed things up. Also, if Pungy could comment the new chat rules (or link to that pastebin), that would be great. I don’t know if they’re on our chat, but I can’t see them on my computer.
