Hello, I'm Pungy1234, your retired leader and founder. My career in CP armies has been quite dynamic and by many peoples' point of view, quite strange. I joined the Nachos in 2009. I was in Nachos for a while but then they forced everyone to download the Nachos toolbar. This had also been right after I had gotten a talk at my school about not downloading things O_O. Because of this, I didn't download it and couldn't access the Nachos site. That seemed to be the end of my army career. Eventually, I quit CP and went to the world of Runescape. One day, I decided to start playing CP again (don't ask me why) and I remembered the Nachos. I found their site, and I was not forced to download the toolbar :) so I rejoined as a Private and I am now retired. I lead and founded the Global Defenders of CP. Thanks to Redd Kool, my dream became a reality. I led GD through the Flyer Wars, the First SWAT War, World War XII, the Second SWAT War, and many other encounters. I lead GD to become 8th on the Major Army Top Ten, though I couldn't have done it without my ever so loyal troops. Through leading GD, I became far from inexperienced and was inducted as a Small-Medium Army Legend by SMAC. When SMAC had "Legends Removals," I was not removed. I am also working as a Philosopher on Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC) and as the Head at Small-Medium Army Central (SMAC). Through journalism, I was able to further expand my reputation, and bring my ideas to the Club Penguin Army World. I bought GD a CSS and a Domain (gdarmy.com), which were both worth every cent (special thanks to Etac for coding). I hope to have the honor of leading this army to its golden age. Join the Global Defenders today!

CPA Central Top 10 & Learning From Our Mistakes

Hey Defenders!

As many of you will know, Grecently received Number 9 in CPAC’s top 10

After reading this Formula for this I have composed a list of things we need to improve on to keep gaining positions!

You can see the Graph Here

As you can see, the barrier between 9th and 5th is very close, this means one week we could be fifth, and the next down to 9th; In Light of this information, I have to stress this EVERY EVENT COUNTS.

Well what can I say about our US and UK events? We’re maxing a great amount for a three week old army, we just need to Recruit more (Use Supa Em’s post for help) here and here

Another point that seems to be quite apparent is that the top 2 armies also have the 2nd and 3rd best AUSIA division. I will schedule some AUSIA events for Next weekend and the following weeks. I’m hoping all of GD AUSIA division can attend, as this is very important to us.

We’re doing pretty good with size, however I must remind you to be on chat At-least 20 minutes before an event, you can also invest in  power to get more troops to chat quicker! If you help full chat your chance of a promotion will increase.

Tacticand Consistency

We are the lowest ranking on the top 10 of tactics and consistency, this is clearly something we need to work on NOW.

Although our style is to do Back to Back Tactics every few seconds, if we do not get a good size doing it, and all our troops engage, it is useless.

We need you on chat, and listening to owners and doing the tactics,  and spamming them instead of pressing them once

But all this negativity aside, great job on CPAC #9 and here’s to a great future for the Global Defenders

One Response

  1. Also, we need to focus on some word tactics. When people listen, our emote tactics are great and everyone does them, but as noted on the SMAP website (SMAP and CPAC I believe use the same top 10 formula), back to back emotes ARE NOT ENOUGH. Word tactics, executed correctly, as well as looking more impressive, earn more points in the tactics category of the calculation, and so will help us improve more. ‘There has been many controversy around the “tactics” point section of the SM Army Press Top Ten formula. We’d like to point out that word tactics are worth more points in the tactics department, just doing emotes will NOT get you as many points.’
